STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMS
Students have the opportunity to participate in an international exchange program and spend a period studying abroad, during which they can take exams, complete internships, or engage in activities related to the preparation of their thesis.
MOBILITY FOR STUDY AND INTERNSHIPS IN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES
Students have the opportunity to undertake a study period abroad at foreign universities that have signed a cooperation agreement with the Department of Energy, Systems, Territory, and Construction Engineering (DESTEC), earning ECTS credits with the possibility of obtaining recognition for the activities completed at the chosen foreign institution. Study and internship opportunities available for students of the course primarily fall within the framework of the following programs:
THESIS MOBILITY
The faculty members of the study programs have numerous collaborations with colleagues from around the world, thus promoting the mobility of interested students to various foreign institutions. Students who conduct their thesis abroad can participate in various Traineeship Calls depending on the location and period of mobility. Additionally, the University of Pisa supports this mobility through the Thesis Abroad Call.
PAST EXPERIENCES
In recent years, a significant number of students have taken advantage of the calls promoted by the university to undertake a study period abroad. All students have had a positive experience at their destination institutions, engaging in study activities, internships, or thesis work.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
International students have the opportunity to attend courses offered by the degree program and to engage in teaching and research activities with our faculty members. They can take advantage of the numerous international exchange programs to undertake a study or research period. The University also provides specific services dedicated to the welcome and orientation of international students.
Our faculty members have ongoing international collaborations and are available to supervise foreign students who wish to conduct their thesis work or internship at our University.
