Master's Degree in ENERGETIC ENGINEERING
The graduate in Energetic Engineering follows a study path that will lead them to explore areas ranging from Thermodynamics to Electrical Engineering, and from Chemistry to Mechanics. Our interdisciplinary approach is necessary to address with flexibility, creativity, and competence the complex problems of a constantly changing world, which poses ever-new and stimulating challenges for Energy Engineers, and is the greatest strength of the path taken at the University of Pisa.
The Course aims, therefore, to provide adequate preparation to conceive, plan, design, and manage energy systems and processes, analyze and plan methods and strategies for exploitation, manage and utilize various forms of energy, also focusing on energy storage methodologies in various realizations, in order to increase the market penetration of non-programmable energies. All of this with a keen focus on the fundamental theme of renewable energies and the equally relevant topic of energy efficiency both in industrial and civil contexts, with evident implications for the environment and human well-being.
