WHAT WILL WE STUDY
The electrical engineer is called upon to face unprecedented and stimulating challenges, which concern all major developments in modern society. For this reason, a wealth of experience and knowledge is necessary, which between the first and second year of the Master’s Degree Program will best shape the future electrical engineer.
During the first year, alongside indispensable topics for the training of electrical engineers, such as applied electromagnetism and optimization methods, electrical systems for energy and sustainable mobility, electrical measurements and transducers, and plant and machine design, there are elective courses that allow students to tailor their cultural background to topics such as smart grids and renewable sources, electric and hybrid vehicles, electromagnetic compatibility, and power electronics.
During the second year, alongside common courses in Mechatronics, Dynamics and Control of Electrical Systems, and Business Economics and Organization, students can complete their studies by choosing from topics such as Electricity Markets, Artificial Intelligence, materials characterization, or electromechanical device design.
Some courses are taught in English as part of a path towards progressively internationalizing the educational offerings, which aims to allow students to broaden their cultural background to effectively enter an international work environment.
